Anyone who, during an armed conflict, uses or orders the use of prohibited methods or means of combat, or those intended to cause unnecessary suffering or superfluous harm, as well as those designed to cause or which can fundamentally be expected to cause extensive, lasting and serious damage to the natural environment, jeopardizing the health or survival of the population, or orders no quarter to be given, shall be punished with a prison sentence of 10 to 15 years, without prejudice to the penalty that corresponds for the results produced.
