1. Any Spaniard who, in time of war, communicates or circulates false news or rumors intended to harm the credit of the State or the interests of the Nation, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term of six months to two years.
2. The same penalties shall apply to any foreigner who, within Spanish territory, commits any of the acts described in the preceding paragraph.
