Spanish Criminal Code

The following shall be punished with imprisonment for twelve to twenty years:

1. Any Spaniard who takes up arms against the Fatherland under enemy flags. The penalty shall be one degree higher than that imposed on anyone acting as a leader or instigator, or holding any command, or who is constituted as an authority.

2. Any Spaniard who supplies enemy troops with funds, weapons, vessels, aircraft, supplies, ammunition, or other direct and effective means to harass Spain, or who facilitates the advance of enemy arms in a manner not covered by the preceding article.

3. Any Spaniard who supplies the enemy with plans of fortresses, buildings, or terrain, documents, or information that directly leads to the same end of harassing Spain or facilitating the advance of enemy arms.

4. Any Spaniard who, in time of war, prevents national troops from receiving the aid specified in paragraph 2 or the data and information indicated in paragraph 3 of this article.
