1. The possession of weapons or ammunition, the possession or storage of explosive, flammable, incendiary or asphyxiating substances or devices, or their components, as well as their manufacture, trafficking, transport or supply in any form, and the mere placement or use of such substances or of the appropriate means or devices, shall be punished with a prison sentence of eight to fifteen years when the acts are committed with any of the purposes expressed in paragraph 1 of Article 573.
2. A prison sentence of ten to twenty years shall be imposed when it concerns nuclear, radiological, chemical or biological weapons, substances or devices, or any others of similar destructive power.
3. Those who, with the same purposes indicated in paragraph 1, develop chemical or biological weapons, or seize, possess, transport, provide to others or handle nuclear materials, radioactive elements or materials or equipment that produce ionizing radiation, shall also be punished with a prison sentence of ten to twenty years.
