Spanish Criminal Code
English translation

1. The commission of any serious crime against life or physical integrity, liberty, moral integrity, sexual freedom and integrity, property, natural resources or the environment, public health, catastrophic risk, arson, document forgery, crimes against the Crown, attacks, and the possession, trafficking, and storage of weapons, ammunition, or explosives, as provided for in this Code, and the seizure of aircraft, ships, or other means of public or freight transport, shall be considered a terrorist offense when carried out with any of the following purposes:

1. To subvert the constitutional order, or to suppress or seriously destabilize the functioning of the political institutions or the economic or social structures of the State, or to compel public authorities to perform an act or to refrain from performing an act.

2. To seriously disrupt public peace.

3. To seriously destabilize the functioning of an international organization.

4. To provoke a state of terror in the population or a part thereof.

2. Computer crimes defined in Articles 197 bis and 197 ter and 264 to 264 quater shall also be considered terrorist offenses when committed with any of the purposes referred to in the preceding paragraph.

3. Likewise, all other offenses defined in this Chapter shall be considered terrorist offenses.
