1. Those who slander, insult, or seriously threaten the Government of the Nation, the General Council of the Judiciary, the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court, or the Governing Council or the High Court of Justice of an Autonomous Community shall be subject to a fine of twelve to eighteen months.

Those guilty of slander or insult as provided in the preceding paragraph shall be exempt from punishment if the circumstances provided for in Articles 207 and 210 of this Code, respectively, apply.

A prison sentence of three to five years shall be imposed on those who use force, violence, or intimidation to prevent members of these bodies from attending their respective meetings.

2. Those who insult or seriously threaten the Armed Forces, the Armed Forces, or the Security Forces shall be punished with a fine of twelve to eighteen months.

The person responsible for the insults described in the preceding paragraph shall be exempt from punishment if the circumstances described in Article 210 of this Code apply.
