Any authority or public official who arrests a member of the Cortes Generales or of a Legislative Assembly of an Autonomous Community outside the circumstances or without the requirements established by current legislation will incur, depending on the case, the penalties provided for in this Code, imposed in their upper half, and also the special disqualification for public employment or office for six to twelve years.
