Those who, offering to carry out the conduct described in the two preceding articles, solicit gifts, presents, or any other remuneration from third parties, or accept such offers or promises, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term of six months to one year. If the offense is committed by a public authority or official, they shall also be subject to special disqualification from holding public office or employment and from exercising the right to passive suffrage for a term of one to four years.

When, in accordance with the provisions of Article 31 bis, a legal entity is responsible for the offenses set forth in this Chapter, it shall be subject to a fine of six months to two years.

Subject to the rules established in Article 66 bis, judges and courts may also impose the penalties set forth in subparagraphs b) through g) of paragraph 7 of Article 33.
