When bribery occurs in a criminal case in favor of the accused by his spouse or another person to whom he is linked in a stable relationship of similar affection, or by an ascendant, descendant or brother by nature, by adoption or relatives in the same degrees, the briber will be sentenced to imprisonment for six months to one year.
