1. Any individual who falsifies a certificate of the type specified in the preceding articles shall be punished with a fine of three to six months.
2. The same penalty shall be imposed on anyone who knowingly uses the certificate, as well as on anyone who, without having participated in its falsification, traffics in it in any way.
3. This provision applies even if the certificate appears to belong to another Member State of the European Union or to a third country, or has been falsified or acquired in another Member State of the European Union or in a third country, provided it is used in Spain.
