1. The driver of a motor vehicle or moped who, outside the cases contemplated in Article 195, voluntarily and without risk to themselves or others, leaves the scene of an accident after causing the death of one or more persons or causing them any of the injuries referred to in Articles 147.1, 149, and 150, shall be punished as the perpetrator of the crime of leaving the scene of an accident.
2. The acts contemplated in this article that originate from a negligent action by the driver shall be punished with a prison sentence of six months to four years and disqualification from driving motor vehicles and mopeds for one to four years.
3. If the origin of the events leading to the abandonment was accidental, the corresponding penalty shall be imprisonment of three to six months and disqualification from driving motor vehicles and mopeds for six months to two years.
