Judges or courts may, with due justification, adopt any precautionary measure necessary for the protection of the assets protected under this Title, including provisional changes regarding the ownership and care of the animal.
When the penalty of special disqualification from practicing any profession, trade, or business related to animals and from owning animals is imposed on the person who had been assigned ownership or care of the mistreated animal, the judge or court, either on its own initiative or at the request of a party, shall adopt the pertinent measures regarding the ownership and care of the animal.
