Anyone who introduces or releases non-native species of flora or fauna, in a way that harms the biological balance, contravening the laws or general provisions protecting species of flora or fauna, will be punished with a prison sentence of four months to two years or a fine of eight to twenty-four months and, in any case, special disqualification from profession or trade for a period of one to three years.
