1. Any public official or authority who, knowing it to be unjust, has issued a favorable report on projects for the demolition or alteration of specially protected buildings shall be punished, in addition to the penalty established in Article 404 of this Code, with imprisonment for six months to two years or a fine of twelve to twenty-four months.
2. The same penalties shall be imposed on any public official or authority who, individually or as a member of a collegiate body, has resolved or voted in favor of granting such authorization, knowing it to be unjust.
