1. Anyone found guilty of robbery with violence or intimidation against persons shall be punished with a prison sentence of two to five years, without prejudice to any additional sentence that may correspond to the acts of physical violence committed.
2. When the robbery is committed in an inhabited dwelling, building, or premises open to the public, or in any of their outbuildings, a prison sentence of three years and six months to five years shall be imposed.
3. The sentences indicated in the preceding paragraphs shall be increased by half when the offender uses weapons or other equally dangerous means, either when committing the crime or to facilitate escape, and when they attack those who come to the aid of the victim or those who pursue them.
4. Taking into account the lesser degree of violence or intimidation used and considering the other circumstances of the act, a sentence one degree lower than that provided for in the preceding paragraphs may be imposed.
