1. The Judge or Court, if it deems it appropriate in light of the minor's circumstances, may impose on those responsible for the offenses stipulated in Articles 229 to 232 the penalty of special disqualification from exercising parental authority or the rights of guardianship, custody, curatorship, or foster care for a period of four to ten years.

2. If the offender holds custody of the minor by virtue of being a public official, the penalty of special disqualification from public employment or office for a period of two to six years shall also be imposed.

3. In all cases, the Public Prosecutor's Office shall request the competent authority to take the appropriate measures for the proper custody and protection of the minor.
