Anyone who threatens another person with causing harm to them, their family, or other persons with whom they have a close relationship, harm that constitutes the crimes of homicide, bodily harm, abortion, crimes against liberty, torture, crimes against moral integrity, sexual freedom, privacy, honor, property, and the socio-economic order, shall be punished:
1. With a prison sentence of one to five years, if the threat was made demanding a sum of money or imposing any other condition, even if not unlawful, and the perpetrator achieved their objective. If they did not achieve their objective, a prison sentence of six months to three years shall be imposed.
The penalties indicated in the preceding paragraph shall be increased by half if the threats were made in writing, by telephone, or by any means of communication or reproduction, or in the name of real or fictitious entities or groups.
2. With a prison sentence of six months to two years, when the threat was not conditional.
