Anyone who, through gross negligence, commits the acts described in the preceding article shall be punished with imprisonment for three to five months or a fine of six to ten months.
When the acts described in the preceding article are committed through professional negligence, the penalty of special disqualification from practicing the profession, trade, or office for a period of six months to two years shall also be imposed.
Pregnant women shall not be penalized under this provision.
