Anyone who causes an abortion through gross negligence shall be punished with imprisonment for three to five months or a fine of six to ten months.
When the abortion is committed through professional negligence, the penalty shall also be special disqualification from practicing the profession, trade, or office for a period of one to three years.
The pregnant woman shall not be penalized under this provision.
