1. When a person has been convicted of two or more offenses, and at least one of them is punishable by law with a reviewable life sentence, progression to the third stage of the prison system will require serving:

a) a minimum of eighteen years' imprisonment, when the convicted person has been convicted of several offenses, one of them is punishable by a reviewable life sentence, and the remaining sentences imposed total more than five years.

b) a minimum of twenty years' imprisonment, when the convicted person has been convicted of several offenses, one of them is punishable by a reviewable life sentence, and the remaining sentences imposed total more than fifteen years.

c) a minimum of twenty-two years' imprisonment, when the convicted person has been convicted of several offenses, two or more of them are punishable by a reviewable life sentence, or one of them is punishable by a reviewable life sentence, and the remaining sentences imposed total twenty-five years or more.

2. In these cases, the suspension of the remainder of the sentence will require that the convicted person has served:

a) A minimum of twenty-five years' imprisonment, in the cases referred to in subparagraphs a) and b) of the preceding paragraph.

b) A minimum of thirty years' imprisonment in the case referred to in subparagraph c) of the preceding paragraph.

3. If the offenses relate to terrorist organizations and groups and terrorism offenses under Chapter VII of Title XXII of Book II of this Code, or are committed within criminal organizations, the minimum time served for access to the third stage of classification will be twenty-four years' imprisonment, in the cases referred to in subparagraphs a) and b) of the first paragraph, and thirty-two years' imprisonment in the case referred to in subparagraph c) of the first paragraph.

In these cases, the suspension of the execution of the remainder of the sentence will require that the convicted person has served a minimum of twenty-eight years of imprisonment, in the cases referred to in letters a) and b) of the first section, and thirty-five years of imprisonment in the case of letter b)(*) of the first section.
