1. In prison sentences of less than ten years, the judges or courts shall impose, taking into account the seriousness of the offense, as accessory penalties, one or more of the following:

1. Suspension from public employment or office.

2. Special disqualification from the right to passive suffrage for the duration of the sentence.

3. Special disqualification from public employment or office, profession, trade, industry, commerce, the exercise of parental authority, guardianship, curatorship, custody, or foster care, or any other right, including the deprivation of parental authority, if these rights had a direct connection with the offense committed. This connection must be expressly stated in the judgment, without prejudice to the application of the provisions of Article 579 of this Code.

2. The provisions of this article are without prejudice to the application of the provisions of other articles of this Code regarding the imposition of these penalties.
