1. Security measures shall be subject to a ten-year statute of limitations if they involve deprivation of liberty for more than three years, and a five-year statute of limitations if they involve deprivation of liberty for three years or less, or if they have a different nature.
2. The limitation period shall be calculated from the date on which the decision imposing the measure becomes final or, in the case of successive enforcement, from the date on which enforcement should have begun.
3. If enforcement of a security measure occurs after the completion of a sentence, the limitation period shall be calculated from the date of the sentence's extinction.
