1. Sentences imposed by final judgment are subject to the following statutes of limitations:
30 years for imprisonment for more than 20 years;
25 years for imprisonment for 15 or more years but not exceeding 20;
20 years for disqualification for more than 10 years and for imprisonment for more than 10 and less than 15 years;
15 years for disqualification for more than six years but not exceeding 10, and for imprisonment for more than five years but not exceeding 10; 10 years for other serious sentences;
five years for less serious sentences;
and one year for minor sentences.
2. Sentences imposed for crimes against humanity and genocide, and for crimes against persons and property protected in armed conflict, except those punished under Article 614, are not subject to any statute of limitations.
Nor will penalties imposed for terrorism offenses be subject to a statute of limitations if these have caused the death of a person.
