The following are also civilly liable, in the absence of those criminally liable:

1. Guardians with full powers of representation who live with the person they support, provided there is fault or negligence on their part.

2. Natural or legal persons who own publishing houses, newspapers, magazines, radio or television stations, or any other means of written, spoken, or visual dissemination, for crimes committed using the media they own, without prejudice to the provisions of Article 212.

3. Natural or legal persons, in cases of crimes committed in establishments they own, when those who direct or manage them, or their dependents or employees, have violated police regulations or the provisions of the authority related to the punishable act committed, such that the act would not have occurred without said violation.

4. Natural or legal persons engaged in any type of industry or commerce, for crimes committed by their employees, agents, representatives, or managers in the performance of their duties or services.

5. Natural or legal persons who own vehicles likely to create risks for third parties, for crimes committed in the use of those vehicles by their agents, representatives, or authorized persons.
