1. In cases of incomplete exemption from criminal liability under paragraphs 1, 2, and 3 of Article 20, the Judge or Court may impose, in addition to the corresponding sentence, the measures provided for in Articles 101, 102, and 103. However, the measure of confinement shall only be applicable when the sentence imposed is a custodial sentence, and its duration may not exceed that of the sentence prescribed by the Code for the offense. Its application shall be governed by the provisions of Article 99.
2. When a confinement measure provided for in the preceding paragraph or in Articles 101, 102, and 103 is applied, the sentencing judge or court shall notify the Public Prosecutor's Office, sufficiently in advance, of its impending expiration, for the purposes of the provisions of the First Additional Provision of this Code.
